A family run hotel near the city center which has been entirely renovated in July 1999. The hotel consists of the main house ("zur Post") and two adjoining houses (Haus Renate, crossing the garden in between and Haus Georg). Our spacious and quiet rooms are furnished with love for details with antiques, Italian design furniture or of local wood and offer every comfort you could wish. Please make use of the possibility to reserve a non-smoker room.
After a quiet and recovering night, we will spoil you with a rich breakfast from our buffet.
Each room has either shower or bath, toilet, hair dryer, satellite TV with English, Italian, French and Spanish channels, direct dial telephone, radio, modem connection. Some rooms have also a mini bar and a safe. We also offer family appartments and rooms accessible for wheelchairs.
From the hotel there are only 20 minutes to walk to the historical city center of Salzburg. You can park your car at the free car park and enjoy the bus ride - without any stress - into the city which you will reach within less than 5 minutes (Bus stop "Eichetstrasse" at 20 meters from our hotel). If you want to do some sports and move yourself independentlay, rent a bike in our hotel. If you bring your own bicycle or come by motor-bike, we will provide you our garage free of charge.
Our hotel is easily accessible by car (highway exit airport, direction center), by train (take bus no. 1 or 2, bus stop "Eichetstrasse") and by plane (5 minutes by taxi).
Furthermore we offer you an outstanding friendly service: we will be pleased to provide you with bus tickets, concert or theatre reservations, sightseeing tours, suggestions for excursions to the wonderufl surroungind of Salzburg or whatever you might like to know.
